In the making...

I was handed an 18 gauge sheet of sterling silver to make a bracelet cuff. I wanted to carve out this design onto the cuff:

I then transfered the design pattern onto the tar covered piece of steel in which I traced the lines over.

After etching the piece of steel for a couple of hours in acid, the carved lines became more prominent allowing a nice clean transfer onto a silver plate through a press. After that it's hours of piercing the metal with my jeweller's saw....

Almost finished~I'm picking up this bracelet from the studio this Wednesday after it's been tumbled and polished. The final product will soon be available at my shop!
