what's up.

What has been going on is tons of stuff. Lucky for Torontonians, I decided to keep selling my jewelry at 627 Queen Street West, probably until Christmas, so if you're around Queen/Bathurst area make sure to take a peek. There will be several Showcase Saturdays in October as well and I plan to be there in person! Here's a chance for me to emerge from behind the scenes and actually speak to customers face to face vs emailing, instagraming, facebooking, tweeting, etc.

Another project that's been keeping me busy is making pieces for my inventory at VICTOIRE in Ottawa~Yes yes! One of my favorite stores while I lived in Ottawa will be fully stocked with CSFootprints Jewelry starting the beginning of October. It's been alot of work because there will be LOTS of goodies for the store.

My favorite part of this months was receiving the most wonderful gift of all~ Remember my post on my lusting over Score and Solder terrariums?  Well I got my very own S&C table dodecahedron!

Sigh. And yes it as and even more beautiful and well made in person. Can't wait to fill it up with some lovely things.

The roll of film.

I'm extremely happy that my roll of film turned out better than expected. I love finding pictures that I took months ago because it allows me to remember and appreciate that specific moment.  For more pics, you can always check out my Flickr.

These pictures were taken with a Nikon F-501 which is now my new best friend since my Canon AT-1 went capoote. There are a couple of shots from my LOMO fisheye as well in the mix.  None of these pics were edited because I think that the beauty of film photography is raw imperfection which makes it perfect for me.

I also realized that if you ask a complete stranger if you can take a picture of their dog, 99.9% of the time they will say yes. I'm not sure who the 0.1% of the population will say no to having their awesome dog photographed, but I'm sure they do exist.

I hope everyone is having a great week! Boo to almost going into October and definitely boo to the cold weather. If you want to keep warm, have you SEEN Scout & Catalogues new fall collection? Totally eyecandying their wool scarves for this chilly weather... This crazy talented woman's gonna make me go broke for realz.

Yes it happened!

Here are some snapshots of the set-up of my showcase. Everything was kept simple and neutral and I love the end result. 5$ at home depot really went a long way...

I was extremely happy because two minutes after I closed the door of my showcase and walked away, a customer bought two of my favorite necklaces. It was lovely to interact with my customer and seeing how happy she was walking away with her purchases.

I want to thank my wonderful boyfriend and my friend Michelle for helping with the laborious work of packaging, packing, transporting and also reducing my stress level by a mile.

This is my first in-store experience for me since I only sell online through my Etsy shop, so if you're in Toronto or thinking of visiting this amazing city, stop on by, get a drink and check out all the wonderful work by various local artists! I'll guarantee you'll find something to bring back home.

Thanks for 627 Queen Street West for all their support as well!

Have a great Labor Day weekend everybody!
