Happy Family Day!

I discovered MJOLK over the weekend and cannot stop obsessing over their scissors. Yes scissors.

Who knew scissors can be so awesome? I'm digging the last one which is made entirely from cast iron. All made in Japan. Check them out here.

I'm also enjoying wearing one of my new items from my jewelry shop, the Mini Bubble Rings. These consist of 6 ultra thin sterling silver rings which 3 of them have a small silver bead soldered onto it. These beads are made entirely from melting down excess silver that I collected while making other jewelry. I've oxidized them because I love the resulting rustic look to them. They are so comfortable to wear!

Lastly, I've been meaning to make these for my upcoming travels because I have a brand new suitcase that I really wanted to embellish...luggage tags~Still in working progress!

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend!

Casted. Ready to wear.

If this doesn't scream BIG, I don't know what will. Casted in solid sterling silver from my original wax ring.

Popular Geometrics

First off, I'd like to show off my new favorite necklace, made by lulubugjewelry. My sneaky Valentine bought this for me after I vaguely showed him the link to this cupcake necklace that I "really" wanted. It looks so yummy~I love the concept of tinted concrete...

My Valentine didn't leave empty handed though. I finished cleaning up the sterling silver band that I had first sculpted in purple wax. Now shiny and clean~I love the look of brushed metal especially because highly polished silver gets scratched so easily.
Meanwhile, I got a few orders this week for my geometric rings which took me by a pleasant surprise. I definitely will have to build an inventory on these babies. Also, I received some rings that I sent out the the casting house and I'm still working on polishing them off. They will be posted on my Etsy shop soon.

What's new in my shop? Check out these necklaces that were made in my little itty bitty apartment while watching the new season of The New Girl and Spartacus...

Both available in my shop now!

Our new friend.

This was a gift I received from my bf which is a DIY mini cow from MOMA in New York, pretty much a Munny doll but so much cooler! We are both love cows especially since we both fall in the same year of the ox!

Here's a profile of our new friend! I love his tail :)

Since I love metallic things, I decided to throw the components of my friend into a metallic spray paint bloodbath. I also threw in my mini manikin because I think he would look better as a robot. Final result TBD...

NEW to the shop! I also made another resin ring similar to my Purple Resin Ring to add to my black collection. I will be posting this to my Etsy shop later today~ There are many necklaces and rings that will be showing up in my shop so make sure to take a peek!

Good news! I finally received my rings from the casting house, so there will be lots of new rings in my shop this week. There's still alot of work to be done, so stay tuned!

Being new to blogging, I realized that GIVEAWAYS are really popular and everyone loves free jewelry. I know I do~Do you guys think I should do a giveaway soon???

New Items and Treasuries!

I got featured in TWO treasuries today and that makes me really happy. Other Etsy sellers probably have a gazillion features on a daily basis but I am extremely flattered when I get one in a blue moon~

Thank you to Tubi Du and Katie Wohl for featuring my geo rings! If you all have time, check out their shops as well!

Meanwhile, I converted a pendant that I made into a ring, and I'm liking how it turned out. My Brass X Ring is now available here! Good thing about this ring is that its adjustable~

I also posted this new Brass Triangle Chevron Necklace in my shop. As you can see I am still obsessed with triangles, and I don't think it will end any time soon. I love sharp edges and geometric shapes even if it means accidentally poking myself with one of the sharp corners.

Being a seller on Etsy, I can't help but marvel at the beautiful things you can find. I have a huge wishlist of things I absolutely need to get my hands on, but if I buy everything I love, I'd go bankrupt.

As I am writing this, I find out that the leather bag above has been sold. Oh my heart...

I'm also going to snag one of these bottles very soon. Handmade, beautiful and simple.

Happy shopping everyone!

New jewelry added to the shop!

It's been a busy week! Busy at my real job and also busy working at home making jewelry!

Off topic, I think I'm alil obsessed. Whenever I see anything remotely close to resembling a deer head, I feel like I need to touch it, buy it, and mount it on my wall. However, I'm a very uncomfortable hanging deer cartilage on my own wall, so metal, cardboard or ceramic will have to do for now.

Meanwhile, new items have been added to the shop, such as my Brass Chevron Geo Necklace~

I don't really use bright bold colors in my jewelry much, but since Valentines Day is coming up, I figured, why not add some RED! This necklace will be available in my shop tomorrow.
I've also been playing around with different types of wax for a ring collection that I'm brainstorming. They will be sent off to the casting house soon!

Finally, a very simple man ring has been carved out for a very special someone for Valentines Day.

Stay tuned!
